New York City Architecture By Foot

On a recent trip down to New York City, I spent most of my time looking up at the eclectic skyline of modern glass and steel buildings surrounded by the ornate stone and brick buildings of the past. With one of the largest and most varied collection of skyscrapers in the world, New York City's history becomes apparent as you see how the new and old mesh together. As an ever evolving city, the Meatpacking and Garment Districts of the past, make way for the new commercial and residential skyscrapers of the future. With my camera and subway card in hand, I wandered the city from sunup to sundown to photograph the beauty of these buildings in their perpetual state of evolution.
