One of my first stops in Valencia, Spain was the City of Arts and Sciences. This area of the city was the former Turia river-bed and has been transformed into a picturesque sunken park containing the modern architecture of Santiago Calatrava. With a long list of accomplishments, Calatrava blew me away with these massive space-age structures. I was able to photograph only a few of these buildings before I had to leave, wishing I had another week to wander in and out of these beautiful structures. These are some photos I was able to capture in a 10 minute time period.
